Hur sjukt får vårt samhälle bli? Ingenting förvånar längre. Vi har överfall på unga, gamla och handikappade – både på stan och i hemmet. Kan det bli värre? Finns det fler gränser att överskrida?
Dagens artikel om unga anorektiska flickor som blivit uppraggade av modellagenturer utanför rehabiliteringskliniken äcklar mig. Var finns etik och moral? Dessa flickor kämpar för sina liv – och ett modellerbjudande kan mycket väl istället innebära ett snabbt slut på livet.
Men, Vem bryr sig?
Today’s news said that young anorectic girls had been offered model jobs when they were walking outside their medical treatment centre. Where’s our ethics? Where’s sympathy and empathy gone? These young girls are fighting for their lives – an offer of modelling might as well kill the young women instead. This makes me sick.
But – Who cares?

Utifrån mitt arbete så kan du ju förstå vad jag tycker om detta ! Jag har haft hand om alldeles för många flickor men faktiskt även pojkar med ätstörningsproblematik … Och utgången har för flera varit så tragisk … Vad är det för jävla värld, på ren svenska som vi lever i ! // Maria

Absolutely awful, those poor girl are fighting for their lives. Also I thought all big model agencies and fashion houses has – stopped using size 0.
My collegue went to H&M to buy a sweater for her 12-year old. She had size 32, which was the ideal model size… So an ideal grown woman is like a 12 years old girl then?
They have been using 15-16 year old girls and made them look like 20 .. but I think those days are gone.
Terrible the whole fashion industry and that is one of the reasons I don’t buy and more glossy magazines anymore.
I understand. Money is the only god people believe in. I used to enjoy fashion when I was young (and could wear it properly), but now – no.
I like fashion .. and I like to look at beautiful cloths .. my dream is to once in my life be able to wear a Valentino gown. I think he makes the most beautiful evening dresses of them all.

The thing is that I don’t have the money of the figure to carry one. *laughing.

Yes when you are young the value of appearance is far over rated and young women will literally starve themselves or throw up. It is very sad that an agency would even attempt this and hopefully this article also gave them bad press?
Hopefully. Where are we going? If I had been a mother here, to one of those girls, I don’t know what I would have done to those people…
I wonder if those girls are alone?
