Yes, I love them as well. And there are many Galapagos sealions on the islands. There are also fur seals. On Santa Cruz we met the famous sealion from Attenboroughs TV program. He was leasurely resting on a bench in the harbour!
We have here grey seals and North Atlantic seals. It’s the time now when they have their puppies.
All the best
The Fab Four of Cley
Oh, puppies are just adorable – such big eyes too. We saw several newly born ones but tried not to disturb them by getting too close. According to our guide the mother might turn on her own baby. Remarkable that they seem to have babies both here in the cold winter and in there in the sun. But on the other hand it is the cooler season there as well.
I could ”eat” these seals! (we say so in Polish if something is very cute and takes our hearts). They look exactly like us, people.
We say the same in Sweden!
Men åhhh! Så bedårande sött och jag får nog revidera min uppfattning om att inga djur ser ut att sova så gott som en katt.
Hehe…sova kunde de…underbart avslappat också.
I can’t remember if I mentioned when we were in the Galapagos, but Jane & I have said for a long time that ”Nothing sleeps like a sealion!” 😀 x
Haha…should be my dog maybe…😉He is a tough sleeper too!
Such a beautiful, peaceful photo.
Thank you- glad you like it!
Wonderful shot. So relaxed. 🙂
Wish we all could relax like that😊
Magnifiques!
Ah, lovely creatures!
Awww, so cute.

Leya, what an absolutely fabulous photo! 🙂
Fabulous animals!
Aw…they looked so blissed out….in love perhaps!
Haha, watched over by the big male…😉

They look contentedly silent!
They were. The big male growling all the time down in the water…watching his harem..
He wasn’t having a silent Sunday, then!
I doubt it he had any silent days at all…
😀😀
Oh så söta dom är.
Och rör inte en min trots människor alldeles intill!
