Wonderful colors, although I must admit I prefer tulips mixed with other flowers as they all seem so similar when close together like this. I don’t know if that makes sense, but I want some other sizes, shapes, and textures to go with them and play off of them, make them less regimented. 🙂

I agree! These are mostly planted to grow the bulbs stronger. The flowers are not used at all…

I was in Holland last week, Lucile, for the flower parade and Keukenhof.

Very much – it was about 25-30 years since last visit. Also very happy to meet up with an old hiking friend whom I met 30 years ago hiking the King’s Trail in Abisko.
