For Cee this week – Steps. In the header – the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. (I’m not sure you can walk them though…except maybe from the inside.))
The second photo is from Hamar, Norway, steps with autumn leaves.

Two favourites from Riga! Drawers from Tom’s Drag and the door from a walk in old town.
Numbers…I seldom photograph numbers. I’m not that much into mathematics, and my profession includes more of letters…so, in my photos there are … letters instead.
Nevertheless, I do have one of my favourite numbers here, created by a woman of letters, for Ben and WordPress….For more numbers, click here.
And…
… in this second photo, from NZ, you get a free, kneeling, selfie as well!
For Sylvain Landry – beautiful Willow with the wind blowing in her hair. She belongs to Seonaid of Breathofgreenair, but my photo on my visit last year.
A man and his work – both have spectacular faces. Photographed in Figueras, 2011. For more inspiration, click here.
Balance – here is my absolute favourite from Madrid and my Glorious students!
Go to Ailsa for more interpretations.
For this week’s challenge, Cheri wants us to share a photo of a landscape: a wide establishing shot of a scene in nature or an urban setting.
This is the Flüela Pass in Switzerland. Summer morning, crystal clear, not a wind. Breathe!

Yellow is a very special colour. It symbolizes a variety of things; for example the sun, being false (in the language of flowers) and power – only for the emperor of China.
I love yellow, but cannot wear it. Others can with elegance – like houses, vehicles and flowers.
A Danish house
Cars are quite OK…
Spring crops before the storm
Dancing water in Barcelona and dancing Swedish people – old and young – around the Maypole. Soon we will be there again…
Music is essential to dancing, and the water here danced to classical music whereas the people clapped hands and danced to classical Swedish Midsummer songs.
I think most people love to dance…it is a beautiful, sensual way of showing emotions. Find more dancing here.
Last week I went to The Blue Planet in Denmark, with Viveka, my blogging friend at myguiltypleasures. We go to Copenhagen at least once a year, and this time we wanted to try the new Aquarium – opened 2013 and the biggest in Europe.
A rather cold day…with only the occational drop of sunshine.
Inside – all BLUE…
…and more BLUE
A meeting place…for nature lovers, lovers of this Big Blue World.
We also met other mesmerizing creatures…

…like little mermaids, and their friends
– the Seadragons…
A fascinating experience. To be continued…
