Pink comes in many different hues. My three beautiful flowers – One sunlit pelargonia, a soft spring magnolia and a lovely student of mine at last year’s ball!

From WordPress this week – Inside. And this is what happens to troublesome students…
Single ones are put in a wooden box…with a light bulb of course…
…and if they are many – we just lock them up in a wind turbine – no light!
Tasty…
Healthy…
Thirsty…
And for today, March 8, the thirsty ones are the two most lovely women I know!

Some photos are enhanced in sepia tones – this scene from a street in Tibet shows a couple looking at a variety of bells for their cattle.

A short story about a plane, a tree and a cloud in Östersund. This is my contribution to Threes
Work – what do I think of when I think of working? At Where’s My Backpack ? Ailsa wants us to show how we think. For me, I guess much of it is about hard work with your hands, but also work together with animals. We will never manage without their help, even if technology is taking over…other values are at stake here…
As usual my pot plants get some new soil and some grooming this week in February. But, this year I had to take down one of the big Monstera Deliciosas – it had grown to the ceiling. This weekend I happened to have dinner with some of my old friends who worked together a long time ago in the same building (it does not exist any more) where I got those Monsteras as cuttings, some 38 years ago…So, now I decided to divide my Monstera into big enough pieces to plant, and then hand them out to my friends. A living memory from days gone by.
Of course I have to show some of the orchids starting now – mostly phalaenopsis. In some weeks there will hopefully be more of them – two cattleyas are budding and more phalaenopsis.
There is only one choice – or two. My greatest Treasures are my children. Nothing compares to them in my life. So much fun and happy times, so much laughter and so much Love. Thank you for being here and being you.
