SL-WEEK 14: Memory
A Memory, for Sylvain Landry. One of the most heartbraking cemeteries I have visited ever – and I have visited many. This is the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw, where thousands and thousands of Jews are resting after the war massacres. Nobody left to care for the graves. Crumbling stones and solemn trees. A tragedy never to be forgotten.

I’m now back from Riga, Latvia, where I met this young man, Janis, at Baltu Drava. He is a passionate bee keeper and sells his own healthy and totally ecological products. Not only honey, but for example bee bread too.
He also makes bee hives out of tree trunks, as of old. (To the left in the picture you will see one of them.)
