Ese’s Weekly Shoot & Quote Challenge: Obsession
Listening to Eric Clapton, and Tears In Heaven, you realize that his explanation is well chosen: An obsession is where something will not leave your mind. Ese’s challenge reveals that I have many obsessions: My children, my dogs, orchids, my work, photography… I read somewhere that to cure one obsession – get another. But mine seldom go away…they pile up. I’m convinced that they are all of the same origin.

Travel theme: Peaceful
Vad kan vara mer fridfullt än denna morgon vid havet, mellan sex och sju, medan de flesta sover. Bara någon enstaka mås hörs, en gök ropar i skogen intill och ett dämpat plask hörs från en and med sina små.
What can be more peaceful than this early morning by the sea, between six and seven, when most people are asleep. A lonely gull, a cuckoo calling from the forest nearby and a silent splash from a wild duck hurrying away with her ducklings.

Weekly Travel Challenge: The Four Elements
De fyra elementen har jag valt från de nordiska länderna – Island, Norge och Sverige.
Ailsa on Where’s My Backpack? has a thrilling theme this week – again! The four elements, Earth, Air, Water and Fire. I have chosen pictures from the Nordic countries – Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
Earth – old magma flow on Iceland.
Fire – Sweden, April 30.
Air – in the mountains of Norway.
Wild Weekly Photo Challenge: Clouds
Nya Zeeland kallas ”Det långa vita molnets land”, och min serie bilder, tagna från en dag i bilen på Sydön, NZ, förra året är väl nog med bevis för sannolikheten i detta påstående!
The new challenge from the online magazine LetsBeWild is named Clouds.
I think clouds are a wonderful gift to mankind – they ignite your imagination and create a beautiful ceiling to help you collect your mind while watching them.
My collection today derives from one day in South Island, New Zealand, last year. NZ is called ”land of the long white cloud” – and I cannot enough praise the beauty of this country and its nature.
The magazine has also started a free photography course – find out more here! LetsBeWild Photography course
