For Cee this week – Kind. To be kind and caring is essential in my life. And so I believe it should be in everyone’s life. A good start is to teach your children to be kind to animals – and to other people of course. But, especially to animals, because animals cannot defend themselves. Humans have always got the upper hand.
The Galapagos Islands shows kind co-existence and its benefits for everyone. And at home, in Sweden, a good example was Mille’s kindness towards the new puppy, Totti. Mille let him do anything without punishing him…Totti thrashed his ears twice with his extremely sharp little teeth. Mille said nothing. Did nothing. We had to go to the vet both times to open his thickened ears and empty them from all that blood.
If you are taught right from the start, you will emerge a kind person throughout life. Being too kind is not the aim, but being Kind.
For Cee – I just had to have my little boy again…Wet, tired and sleepy after an adventurous winter day. Can you hear his relaxed snoring?

It is not very kind taking close-ups though…when I have been fooling around in the last snow while it was raining…

This story is an old one, from 2011, but I know it is my best story ever. Totti is a bon vivant and a lazy dreamer – but he is prepared to fight for his (our) hammock…

… just want to tell you, that this day was worth waiting for! My Day. My kind of weather.
Cold (-10 C), snow and sun. Hope you enjoyed this day just as much as I did!
Long walks, racing, digging, rolling…
…and eating ”shit” (as my master puts it…)…I find hidden under the snow…
– and then more walking again. Cannot get enough of that…
And of course – playing around, loving my family ♥♥♥♥♥
This morning the sun decided to shine from a blue sky – and I decided to start re-potting my plants. Everything is much easier and much more fun with the sun shining in.
Every year around February I take on this task, which usually lasts for three to five days including window cleaning ( so I can see my little friends better…) and the whole house.
After lunch, Totti says he wants a long walk – and the weather is still lovely – so…
Two hours out, then the sun is fading, and we are heading homewards. All happy for this beautiful day – and Totti had his many rolls in the grass, and water splashing as much as he liked…
Two stomachs hungry for dinner now!
