Travelling along a gravel road, close by the water, usually makes you feel happy and light at heart…but this man had to struggle hard in the tough winds.

# 59 Ensamstående – Single/Standing alone (a play on words) (86/365)

Cold and windy at Magle. A woman standing alone in the wind.

Travel Theme: Energy

Energi – Energy, almost the same word in both languages. And from the people of Tibet in the Himalayas, I send pictures for Ailsa’s theme, showing some of their most useful energy sources.

The sun, the water and the dung.

This little water works is for digging the yellow clay to make incense.

A rather rich house, having a real stove outdoors.

# 229 Porlar – Ripple (69/365)

A rippling brook is soothing to all humans. When the ice is open the sound is music to the soul.

# 62 Farkost – Boat (60/365)

From a trip to Peru and Lake Titicaca in 1987. Reed boats are still used among the Uru indians and the famous Thor Heyerdahl proved to the world how much they can take, sailing Ra and Ra II.

My lamb skin rug will be the heavy waves here…
