There is a proverb in my language that says ”your love for me is like the love for a flower, when pick is worship and adored but if wilted you throw away”. I think this is interesting! I see you treat flowers with a true love, let the flowers on the vase stay till dried and fell apart. 🙂
Amazing how you have created an interesting photo out of this. The shiny iridescent purple of the tulips is like silk!!! Well done! Tulips along with gardenias are my favourite flowers.
I loved these tulips – their colour was amazing – then, like some tulips do – they suddenly went down and met me after work like this…I’m glad I could make something more out of their short lives!
Blixt faktiskt – fick lite panik när jag kom hem efter jobbet och såg dem…vågade inte vänta ifall de skulle tappa bladen…Tack – då kommer dina exemplar i sällskap!
Oh so very beautiful.
…and a bit sad.
Those beautiful flowers! The range of purple looks like rich satin ~
Satin, yes, I can see it too. Sad to throw them away…short, beautiful lives.
That’s one of my favorite qualities about tulips actually, how lovely they are when they droop.
En perfekt tolkning till temat, och snygga fäger i bilden.
Tack så mycket! Jag blev tvungen att använda blixt – med fantastiskt färgresultat.
What graceful drooping!
😀
… bowing down gracefully …. what glorious purple sheen on the petals with that light Ann Christine !
Yes, I don’t like using flashlight really, but that was my only chance this time…and the colours benefited from it.
Goodness, that really is drooping; drooping so elegantly. 🙂
An elegant drooping – nicely put. Well, almost like a bowing to the king or something. Well dressed they are at least!
Yes, yes. 🙂
You say a snapshot Leya but the colour drew me immediately – i think because the foliage was at the top the opposite of what we expect.
Agree.
Vackert komponerad bild och underbara färger. Blommor aom slokar kan vara mycket vackra!
Det kan de!
Love this shot – it conveys so much emotion.
Thank you, Tina – flowers bring out many feelings.
Lovely composition and dramatic too. I love the shades of purple! Goregous.
A sad story when they had to go. I loved their colour.
Beautiful image and lovely colours, Ann Christine. 🙂 I’m always so sad when my tulips have to be thrown on the compost heap.
Yes, I keep them until their petals fall. but, it’s always sad…that’s why I generally prefer pot plants. They come back to me every year!

Dear friend, Thank you for sharing your proverb – and I do love all my flowers and have them standing til the end! (And longer…)
I am amazed by your love towards them. 🙂

Fin komposition. Räknar med att mina joinar dina imorgon! Snyggt med lila och grönt mot brun och homogen bakgrund. Blixt eller lampa? Fina skuggor.
