Satin, yes, I can see it too. Sad to throw them away…short, beautiful lives.
That’s one of my favorite qualities about tulips actually, how lovely they are when they droop.

You say a snapshot Leya but the colour drew me immediately – i think because the foliage was at the top the opposite of what we expect.

Yes, I keep them until their petals fall. but, it’s always sad…that’s why I generally prefer pot plants. They come back to me every year!
There is a proverb in my language that says ”your love for me is like the love for a flower, when pick is worship and adored but if wilted you throw away”. I think this is interesting! I see you treat flowers with a true love, let the flowers on the vase stay till dried and fell apart. 🙂

Amazing how you have created an interesting photo out of this. The shiny iridescent purple of the tulips is like silk!!! Well done! Tulips along with gardenias are my favourite flowers.
I loved these tulips – their colour was amazing – then, like some tulips do – they suddenly went down and met me after work like this…I’m glad I could make something more out of their short lives!
