My mother used to sing this song: ”White coral bells upon a slender stalk; Lilies of the Valley deck my garden walk; Oh, don’t you wish that you could hear them ring; That will happen only when the faeries sing.” I love their delicate blooms and fragrance!

Ah, Lily of the Valley in lovely light! I was at RHS Wisley garden today (in dull, then very wet weather, and noticed some LoV which was past its best…..
Here they seem to stand very long this spring because of the cold. New life!
