Tuesday Photo Challenge – Transport
For Frank this week, in the header – favorite transport in Sweden, my own country.
Train – the Kingston Flyer, NZ
But my absolute favorite is – walking, using my own feet. These feet were hiking in Bhutan, and we were all heading for the Tiger’s Nest.

Oh my, those raindeer look like teenage drivers. 😀 Hilarious.
Love that first one! I collect reindeer-related things.
Hehe, yes, they really were fadt guys!
I love your choices, Ann Christine, and you’ve captured them so beautifully.
Thank you! I heard it is raining!
Yes thankfully. Not much here though, but good for others so yippee.
Absolutely amazing experiences! I love to see your images, thank you!
So glad to share them – thank you so much!
I drive or walk, but that first photo is by far my favorite. They’re really moving from the looks of it. No wonder Santa can get around the entire world in one night. 🙂
The reindeer race is fantastic. I have never seen this before. Dog sled yes but not reindeer.
They have them every year, on the frozen lake. This year I don’t know…too warm and maye too thin ice.
Winter everywhere in the Northerm Hemisphere is not behaving normally.
No. Very sad it is. For the reindeer and the Sami people I think life will soon change very much.
Yes, Walking is the best, but i like your photo of the train, too.
I never knew they held reindeer races – looks fun:)
They have them every year on the lake. This year very uncertain though – too warm and no snow…
Amazing reindeer photo, wow! Hope to see the Kingston Flyer on track again this year: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/406675/kingston-flyer-may-be-back-in-operation-this-year
I hope it will! The reindeer are having a tough time this year though. Due to the temperature’s fluctuating and ice forming on top of their food – they are starving
I don’t know much about reindeer and that problem wouldn’t have occurred to me. Oh dear!
Yes, the Sami people have reindeer for a living. What will happen in the future is very uncertain.
So many photos to love A-C 🙂
I with you on walking as a wonderful way to travel, though I heard the Kingston Flyer may start running again this year and I am seriously tempted!
It has been out of duty then?
Yes; for about 5-6 years I think. I
Aha- hope it will soon start again!
Later this year apparently 👍
Great photos, Leya. Love those reindeers.
