Such beauties. Do you know whether potted orchids will grow back? My husband got me a pot for my birthday and the orchids are gone but the leaves are still green. Should we keep watering it in hopes of a return? If you don’t know, that’s fine, but I know you like orchids, so…
They almost always come back. Keep them. Not too much water and a water spray now and then. No strong sun. Good luck! Mine are almost always here for at least 5-6 years.
my friend Karin has had great success with her potted orchids coming back – and I know she keeps the water to a minimum like Leya noted (and I ams are you know)
Weekly watering. I used to move mine into a cooler and darker room during the winter when they were resting. When flower spikes began to show I moved them back into a sunnier position. I had potted orchids that flowered for years, until I actually got fed-up of them!
Gorgeous photo – so delicate and yet vivid at the same time 😀
Thank you, Sarah!
A lovely ethereal image, and purple too.
Purple too – should have connected!
☺️
I like the light effect – it lets us feel the shapes and also adds interest like wondering time of day etc
Thank you – true.
🙂
Nice high key image, Ann-Christine!
♥ Thank you – I think it is uplifting!
