Every Easter, Swedish artists offer local exhibitions to reach their customers. This year we went to Hovdala Castle for an overview instead of driving around to the different artists and their ateliers. Environmental friendly and time saving.
How about a peep into some of our local artists’ work?

Finally, a painting I really recognize my spirit and soul in.
Hope you enjoyed the little tour!
Excellent local
Art!
And I can see the spirit and soup
Connection with that awesome lady and tree art! So wonderful
Thank you – a lovely tour.
😊
I love all of these beautiful images. 😍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed them!
I, too, love the woman in the forest one – speaks to my soul deeply – ahh…how I do love those moments in time when art of another, finds it’s way to my ‘world’. Thanks so much for capturing and posting!
♥ I had great fun too – love small art exhibitions where I can really have time to take them in.
I like the last one a lot and also the forest one by the same artist. Plus it looks like a lovely space in which to display the art 🙂
Thank you, Sarah – and it was a lovely day. The old castle is perfect for exhibitions.
Looks like a great way to spend an afternoon of art appreciation!
Thank you, it was!
Wow, what amazing art work, must admit that last one really resonated ☺️
Happy to share them!
Dear Ann Christine,
thanks for showing us these artefacts. The plums are great, modern and also in the tradition of old Dutch still life.
Wishing you all the best, keep well and happy
The Fab Four of Cley

Thank you so much – old tradition still life is sometimes really lovely !
It’s an interesting space, as well as the artwork, but that last painting is really beautiful.
Thank you, Jo – the castle is perfect for exhibitions. And I am happy you love the forest lady!

These are great, I like Ericsson’s Kartnummer 15…and like Jude, the plums
♥ Thank you, Sue!
🥰
Somehow, this looks Nordic indeed. I too like the last painting. A lovely show in a lovely place.
Thank you, Margaret! Yes, this castle is the perfect place for exhibitions – it’s the light…
I did enjoy the tour and the simplicity of the exhibits. (Of course I enjoyed the art as well.) 🙂

Very nice tour of these beautiful artworks and venue.
So glad you emjoyed them, Nes!
The ‘neatness’ and ‘quietude’ and darkish tones somehow so belong to the soul-life of the Nordic peoples . . . could hang the last painting in my own home tho’ I find a degree of sadness in the depiction . . .
I can see the sadness too – but could easily hang this one on my wall… I also see what you mean by the Nordic touch and the soul of Nordic people. Always appreciate your comments.
Love the plums and yes, the last painting is most unusual, and I can see why you see yourself in it.
I love the plums too – but the forest woman…went straight to my heart.
