Lens-Artists Challenge #368, Looking Back to #106 – Autumn

John leads us through this magical season!

When everything looks like a magical oil painting, you know you are in Autumn!
― Mehmet Murat ildan

Not here yet though…but I have thousands of Autumn pictures in my archives – what to choose?

For the dogs – Autumn is the best season. Many scents, cool temps and easy to dig around! Unfortunately Milo is still not ready to enjoy, not yet recovered, but in a month he will be ready for Autumn fun.

The galleries speak for themselves – some of my favourites. The perfect plate, magnificent mushrooms, splendid golden gates, water, birds and flowers. And the crisp light and air – Hope you enjoy!

Last week, our guest host, Joanna Mason, challenged us with “Everyone Should See This,” which brought many unique images in the responses. As I had some traumatical days and a severely injured dog, I will have to try visiting you this week instead.

Next week, the Lens-Artists Challenge is hosted by me, Ann-Christine/Leya. Be sure to visit my blog here so you don’t miss the challenge published on Saturday, October 11. To find out more about the Lens-Artists Challenge, click here.

  1. Such a wonderful collection of images, Ann-Christine! I can’t begin to pick a favorite. They’re all so full of color, so well composed, beautiful.

    • Thank you, Jude – it used to be my favourite season. Nowadays maybe not – it’s often too rainy. So far this year it is good. How is your Autumn coming along?

  2. Such wonderful autumn scenes and moments Ann-Christine, here’s wishing Milo will be able to enjoy these natural playgrounds again soon 🍁🧡🐾 xxx

  3. Ah, Ann Christine, what a wonderful celebration of autumn… you have really captured the essence of the season in your images. I love the first image of a happy dog foraging, and the forest images are just great.

  4. You’re right, these photos do speak for themselves and are a wonderful celebration of autumn 🍂 I love your delicate mushrooms, and the shot with the carpet of red leaves and yellow trees is fantastic!

    • Thank you, Tina – I am sure he will. The last stiches will be taken next Friday! He will then get rid of his plastic hood as well. And he will be jumping for joy!

  5. Hi Ann-Christine
Your first picture looks quite Japanese to us.
Great combination of pictures to produce this typical autumn atmosphere. We like the autumn, especially its colours.
    Happy autumn

    • Happy autumn to you as well! The first one is an old favourite – very old. But I love European spindle in Autumn. So much that I planted a tree in my garden as well.

    • I hope you will! I hope the weather will be beneficial – sometimes the rain takes all the colours and sometimes the wind does. Hopefully it will stay for some days at least!

  6. Truly magical photos Ann-Christine 😀 Milo face deep in leaves made me laugh. The water and forest scenes made me gasp. The last forest photo is excellent

  7. Wonderful gallery, Ann-Christine! My two faves are the tree-lined road and the one just below it with the large arc of a tree overarching the red leaves on the ground, crossing the entire photo.

  8. A-C, your marvelous photos delighted and soothed my soul, making me yearn for the autumn we don’t have here in Arizona. (We do have lost of beauty, just not this sort at least in our desert part of the state.) Thank you from the bottom of my autumn-loving heart.

Halva verket är läsarens - så, vad säger Du? As the second half is the reader's - I'd love to have Your line!
