Thursday Thoughts – Mushroom and moss days

It’s snowing outside now. Soft white flakes sailing through the air. These beauties below will be covered tomorrow and gone – so, one last look at the little world that surrounds us. I feel there is something special with mushrooms – they sparkle fairy tales, and knowing how important they are to the trees and the forest, we must send them our love –

through this gallery. Maybe only white pictures next!

    • Thank you, Karina! I love fungi, but only take few photos of them. I would like to take more. You are so good with insects – you are good with these too I am sure!

  1. Enjoy the soft snow whilst I look longingly towards the beautiful mushroom photos on the page . . . Down Under may offer many beauties but northern forests and what grows under the trees on many occasions simply does not travel . . .

  2. Dear Leya,

Thank you for your poetic reflections on the beauty of nature, especially the enchanting world of mushrooms. Your description of the snow and the connection with the forest is truly captivating. I share your sentiments on the importance of mushrooms and their role in our ecosystems.

    Best regards, Sheikh Said Kassim
