I am Back with Birds for Beth!
Cranes at Hornborgasjön, Sweden. Then a gallery from far and wide. Some strange birds, like the Shoebill stork and the Kori bustard. I think you will recognise the others, ”the flying banana” and the night heron too.

A marvellous gallery. I had nursed the hope that we might spot cranes in Sweden during our stay, but knew that, since they retreat from public view in June to raise their young, this was unlikely. And so it proved. Your image is a consolation prize!
