Travel theme: Warm

Travel theme: Warm

Spot on, Ailsa. Warm is the theme for this week. Up north we are very tired of all the grey: rain, drizzle, slush – and darkness. Now it is dark around 3.30 pm. I hope your theme will get much light and warmth from us all!

Mmmm…

In the header, one of my Phalaenopsis orchids, and above my friend Robin…

Monday Morning…

…woke me up to a glorious, frosty day.

The tulip showed off her hair frost…

…the Lady’s mantle unfolded her hidden gems…

and the old roses were still asleep, in golden, pink dreams.

A crispy, delightful day – who would think that of a Monday?

Some Chocolate?

Last summer I bought a Chocolate flower for my garden. The scent is …chocolate… at its best. I also love the rich dark colour of it. In fact this is one of the few surviving plants this wet and cold summer. I wonder if someone knows its real name?

Since yesterday’s crash I have tried to pick (and cheer) myself up – and with the help of penicillin and the new computer – ta da! Berries and bluebells!
