WPC: Scale

For Scale, I go to last summer in Spain, and the World Heritage Beach Catedrales. Giants standing in the sand – small people admiring!

Drizzle

There is no wind…only the silent drizzle of tiny raindrops through the thin canopy.

WPC: Layered

Layered? What could be more layered than the giant pancaces of New Zealand. Impressive!

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Letter E – Needs to have two E’s in the topic word

Since yesterday’s crash I have tried to pick (and cheer) myself up – and with the help of penicillin and the new computer – ta da! Berries and bluebells!

Thursday Thoughts – Another View of Kew

I had not been to Kew for some years…about 35-40 I would guess – and when I finally returned some weeks ago, there were some surprises awaiting. The Hive was one of them, and another one was the Treetop Walkway. 18 metres up in the canopy, you could get a closer look at lime, sweet chestnut and oak trees – as well as a bird’s-eye view of Kew Gardens.

Take the lift up with me to the canopy! Not quite like the Amazon in December, but still great.

WPC: Ooh, Shiny!

What about you: what is guaranteed to distract you? What is your “Ooh, shiny!”? To distract me? A spectacular flower!

For Cee this week – one real and one fake (handmade) ”apa”…in English ”monkey”!
