Lights, the subject for Sylvain Landry.
My recent stay in Switzerland meant bright lights every day. This from Weissfluhjoch, 2662 above sea level.

For this week we are requested to show ”pictures of unusual and different holidays,” Well, on our holiday to Switzerland we took many lifts, boats and trains to get to our hiking starting points, or just to wonderful views. Riding this mountain train we passed these two…I guess Swiss people. A woman picking flowers and a man sitting almost naked in a chair – in the middle of a flower meadow.
Kezako – a new word to me, but so I learn something new every day. That’s the great thing about life, isn’t it. Learning new things. So, what is this?
Kezako – Sylvain Landry. Thank you for the invitations sent! Today I found 18 comments in the spam departement…and two of them from you. Sorry, but I seldom check that box – thank you again …and from now on I will…check that box.
For Cee this week – two very different items... The lower part of this picture shows one of my students (in a bar in Madrid) and the upper part of the picture…
At least they both smile!
For Cee this week – an unusual angle or perspective. As always an interesting and inspirational challenge!
One of the strange and interesting forces of nature is the force of eruptions, volcanoes. This lava stream was flowing down the Icelandic landscape in the 17th century, and is now a beautiful but dangerous moss covered area. You cannot see what’s hiding under the moss – there could be huge holes several hundred metres down – now neatly covered death traps.
Clouds this week, for Cee. Maybe we don’t think so much about there being clouds at night as well…but sometimes we are fortunate to see them if we happen to look out the window – as I did. They change every minute, and the scenery can be quite intriguing.
There are many fantastic writers and authors, and now one of them, Sir Terry Pratchett, has left us – at least for a while…
If you look up the word ”fantastic” in a dictionary, it says ”wild and strange; grotesque; absurd; marvellous; wonderful.” What am I to do about such a theme?
I will pick three shots – trying to picture the definitions. All of them from New Zealand, the land of wonders.
From Weta Cave, Welliwood, and all its fantastic gear – unfortunately I never noted down who this is…
And fantastic Milford Sound – even more beautiful than Norway.

This week’s challenge takes us to a wall – my wall is a happy one, where you can exchange thoughts and quotes and general wisdom or recipes or…Just write your message behind a little door – open your heart and some doors, read and enjoy!
