When I had picked out some photos for this week´s challenges, I suddenly noticed that some of them matched both themes! So, I decided to try a combination of the two. My thoughts went like this…
Water is most essential to life on Earth and we have to keep it clean and fresh in order to survive. Most people also love to listen to the sound of water, it may be the waves of the Big Ocean or the tiny trickling from a hidden well. We find peace in the sound. We also love wild waters, being able to watch every movement of the waves and the shifting of colours in them. It comes natural to us to draw, paint or photograph water – or somehow depict what we think has to do with water. We simply cannot resist this urge…or, apparently, doing it the geometrical way!
These are my entries for the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry and for the LetsBeWild.com Wild Weekly Photo Challenge: Water

Where were those amazing round rocks?
On the east coast of New Zealand
Oh my, this lamp! It has called to me as one of the three suggestions after one of your most recent posts so I came to look. And I love all the other photos too. But this lamp!! 😮
I love it too, Manja. Wish I had it over my bed…imagine waking up to that view!
They lie off the east coast of NZ, South Island. Glad you enjoyed my trip!
Enjoyed your selection of photos, you took us for a quick skip around the world! Interesting combination of water and geometry; The Gaudi spiral is superb. Where is the last location with those pudding-shaped rocks?
These are wonderful choices… I love how different they are too. 😉
Glad you also like them – and, I enjoy trying to make things different, when I can…
Wow, superb!
You make me happy – thank you!

Thank you! Gaudí is my favourite architect. Nature was always in his thoughts when he created his art.
