Love everything here … that castle is pale and beautiful .. just like we, women are suppose to be or ???? Fascinating with Yoko Ono’s exhibition – love the figures on the shelve .. but looking on the big shelve it looks .. like cups … Great gallery choice for the challenge.
I think you have done the challenge great justice Ann-Christine . Those little girls are very pale and slightly disconcerting !
Love the way you got your shadow in the last image rather adding to the ‘Art look’ .
Well, she had this exhibition here two years ago. The crockery was meant to get people mending it – it was all in bits and pieces. Tables were set with possibility to glue them together, making them whole again, and then people put small notes about mending the world into their mended cups or saucers. It was fascinating to read all messages to the world – from children to adults. There were also two Swedish artists´work here – the sculptures are from them.
Beautiful photography, love the castle that hosted the exhibition – quite elegant with the flowers in the foreground. Beautifully framed.
Thank you Mary, for positive comment! Much appreciated!
what a fascinating post. I like the idea behind Yoko’s exhibition and I love the sculptures of the children
Thanks, Jo. I wish she would come back next year – she has such great ideas. And, she realizes them.

It is! Cups and saucers in bits and pieces – glued together again with people’s messages inside about mending the world.

😉
Great subjects for the challenge. Those dolls look quite spooky though. 😯
They do…Its difficult to know how to behave there.
Whoa, love it! 🙂
Thanks! A bit pale, but nevertheless…
I find the children beautiful but rather discombobulating at the same time. They are certainly pale, as is your shadow!
Thank you for an interesting comment, but, OK, now I need a translation..”.discombobulating” is not as word I am familiar with? Please help!
It means very confusing indeed. 😀
Thanks!
Älskar bilden där din skugga finns med… 🙂
Sådana bilder blir levande på något sätt. Ljus och skuggor kan bli fantastiska bilder.
Ha en skön söndag!
Ha det gott du också!
This is beautiful! What is the Yoko Ono collection?

Thats fascinating ! I have never heard of such a simple yet cathartic activity!
