I London finns naturligtvis många fina skulpturer, men en som jag aldrig tidigare sett fann jag nära Victoria Palace Theatre där vi avnjöt musicalen Billy Elliot (rekommenderas verkligen – lysande!).
In London, a couple of days ago when visiting the Victoria Palace Theatre for the brilliant musical Billy Elliot (Go see it! And thank you for telling me about it…though I have forgotten which of you, my blogging friends, who gave me a hint? ), I came across this sculpture of considerable size, and in vibrant colours. So, sorry British Museum, but this is my choice for Ailsa’s theme: Sculpture!

I liked it being there, vibrant in a world of glass and concrete.
Love your choice .. for the challenge – Billy Elliot is one of the few musicals I haven’t seen and would love to see, but so long as I lived over there … was there never any great seats left when I visit London. Love the movie.
Oh, that movie – one of my absolute favourites. Saw it yesterday again to compare a bit. It is even better than the musical – despite the musical having more dancing and singing of course. Great performance of the young boys and girls. (”Billy” 12 years old and ”Michael” 11!) Almost fell in love with them all…What brilliant actors!
