Weekly Photo Challenge: Spring

I think spring to me is a feeling…filling me from head to feet…when walking in my forest late in the evening. In the green flow of the fragrant beeches, listening to the clear melodies of the thrush in the canopy and the little strong voiced wren in the dark shrubbery below. Standing in the clearing the soft fragrance of hackberry fills the air, and I just breathe – Spring.

Everything is near and still far away…and I…am here, in the moment, in my self, in nature. Reborn.

    • Våren är härlig. Här har den varit så fantastiskt vacker detta år och jag har tagit mig tid att gå upp tidigt och njuta och vandra sent för att lyssna och dofta.

  1. Evenings bring Spring joys too don’t they Ann Christine … with the subtle dappled light and the feeling the day is closing gently without that early darkness of winter it is wonderful .. as your description so clearly indicates .
Love the elegance of the forest in the second photo .

  2. The second photo is stunning. We don’t have woods like that over in Australia. Those ones are magical with some much life springing up.

  3. I love how you introduced the photos. And very stunning photos they are too. I liked the first one best – the yellow and green both equally stand out together in harmony. It’s approaching winter here in Australia, getting cold. So your photos warmed my heart a little 🙂

    • I’m glad they did! The same it is for me when it’s growing colder here – your reports from the other side of the Earth is needed to cheer me up!
