In my garden I suddenly had a couple of poppies…coming from nowhere, they were just there.
This year there are quite many of them, and I love to sit down beside their nodding heads and watch them unfold…

…admiring their fragile beauty.

Your header photo is stunning with the poppies surrounded by the azure blue sky
They were very beautiful, but lasted only for two days because of the heat and the wind. I was lucky to capture them.
After the poppies bloom, the pods are as neat as the flowers. Turn the pods upside down in a container to catch the seeds for next year.
Thank you for the tip!
so lovely! 🙂
…and now they are gone…
Enjoyed your perspective on the first one. The wind gave you a treat, bringing you a surprise. Or the birds…
Anyway – thank you, Mother Nature for sending them!
I love poppies, I have many yellow ones in my garden but not the red variant
Oh, I love the yellow ones and would want some in my garden. They are not that common here, but I saw many down in Europe.
I love poppies, and also how you entitled this post 🙂. The photos are gorgeous. Wish we had some poppies here …
Thank you, Rebekah – maybe some will come flying to you as well!
