My good life depends on how much quietness and contemplation I can find time for. Ailsa’s theme this week – and every week… – breathes of Life.
My choice today is also for a belated Happy Birthday to you, Ailsa, and wishes for a Happy New Year! Thank you for hosting the Travel theme – always a great joy to read and participate when I can.
Feel the quiet prescence of this lovely young sealion, standing on the warm beach – just in front of me – with her eyes closed…living in, and enjoying, the moment. No fears, Mindfulness, the sealion way.

The beautiful sea lion has the right idea. What a wonderful picture!
She was so sweet – and like you say, she has the right idea…
Wishing we can have more such moments in our own lives 🙂
I agree. Unfortunately many people never have them…but we have to – to survive.
Vilket underbart uttryck du lyckats fånga, så rolig bild!
😀
Nice! Hope I have one as good! 😉 x
Oh, I love this portrait, Ann-Christine! It captures the friendly nature of sea lions. Such fun.
They really are very friendly and sweet- thank you!
They really are friendly, thank you!
I have a new post, as the Centre Head of Maggies Highlands in Inverness. Very exciting, and a huge challenge, but one I’m already loving 😊
Aaaah, congrats!😁🌹
Utter happiness and peace rolled into one creature and one moment. I love this!
Makes me happy! I tried to mail you but it failed….I want to send hugs and Happy New Year greetings to you, Andy and Callum – and to the girls of course😚
What a wonderful message Tina, thank you and the same to you and yours. We are in the midst of a big transition northwards into the heart of the Highlands….such a big adventure!!
Wow transition?
Indeed😆😵

Catching her with all that sand on her is a special bonus, as it makes for an unusual shot. I need my quiet time, too. I think that it’s important for people to recognize that they need downtime/quiet time and to be mindful of getting it, especially when we’re constantly bombarded with noise and busy-ness.

Om!!
