2. Ooops…a proper Yorkshire pud is made by pouring the batter into the hot tin containing the fat, and it should rise pretty quickly, and no turning!

     • Oh, gosh, yes, my grandparents were Yorkshire people, and my grandmother was a dab hand at a Yorkshire pud made the right way!!

   • No ….(un)fortunately not. Went with collegues to Scarborough for a week and had only typical English dishes every day! Marvellous guide, tour and food.
