So, now I have been here for four whole days! Thought I would tell you about some things I have learned…and I learn fast.
I have continued the work started by Mille and Totti – undermining the Forsythia bushes.
I have also discovered other hidden gems here…
Like this Buddleia shelter – from where I have a good view of the whole garden!
Indoors, my favorite place is under the table – chewing up as many feet as possible…
And I must say I am happy that the family members here already adore me – all of them, except one…
But I am trying hard to make friends with him, Totti…, and you know –
sooner or later, I am sure even he will have to give in to my charms!

So adorable!!
He is – thank you!
So cute…. By seeing i remember my Toby who lived with for 1 month!! Lovely
OMG Leya, cute overload!
A friend of mine has two of them and they are excellent researchers. She trains them for researching people and one of them already has kind of 10th dan of research. She is able to find a person in 1 km distance only in smelling a piece of paper the person touched one day ahead. She also buildt a basket for her bike and the two dogs love sitting in front of her and letting the wind play with their ears :-).
Sounds great! Yes, they have extremely sensitive noses.
wow, so darling. I loved the chocolate curly fur — like a Shirley Temple puppy
😁They stay chocolate for a year or two, then turn greyish for a year or so – then back to dark brown.
I had never heard of fur changing like that due to young age — only old age. I’ve heard eye colors change from blue to whatever they will become for good. What kind of dog is your puppy?
A Lagotto Romagnolo. An Italian water dog originally, but nowadays a truffle dog.
Truffle is perfect because he’s so chocolatey. First I’ve seen an Italian water dog — beautiful dog.
Thank you – I will tell him!
So now we know the thoughts that go on behind those beautiful eyes. 🙂
😉
Excellent read and amazing pictures!
Thank you!
Who could resist those appealing eyes, I’m sure Totti will soon be smitten as we all are with your adorable new addition to the family.
;-D Not easy, the old guy, but he will, eventually.
Thanks for telling your tale. I’m sure Totti will surrender to your charms. 🙂
😀
Oh so gorgeous. Totti it will be okay. We love you too.
Good you are telling him too!
Aaahh. That last photo in particular, looks so adorable.
♥
Adorable, Leya 🙂 🙂
Oh he is- and a joy for everyone except Totti! But, in a couple of weeks they will play like pups both of them😉
Totti looks dubious, A C!
Oh…he is. Can’t stand him really, Milo. Always trying to play and really being a pain in the ass.. But he will come around! Might take a couple of weeks though😉
I vote 4 weeks….
…hopefully sooner – but we never know!
Let’s hope!
So cute, Leya! ❤
♥ He is a sweetie!
