A gush of bird-song, a patter of dew,
a cloud, and a rainbow’s warning,
Suddenly sunshine and perfect blue –
— An April day in the morning.
– Harriet Prescott Spofford
April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.
So, with a young spirit’s illustration of William Wordworth’s lovely daffodils’ poem, I say Hello April from Sweden!
Thank you, Amy, for a lovely April morning!
Such a lovely post … beautiful images 🙂
Thanks, Julie – April is an adventurous month when people come alive outdoors again!

Beautiful light in your shots, AC. I love the hopefulness of spring, don’t you? And the illustrated poem is wonderful! A perfect ending to your beautiful, uplifting post. Enjoy the light, my friend!!
Thank you, glad you found it uplifting! Always needed. The light is back, and that is so encouraging.
Yes! The light is back. 🙂
I like the POV you used for the flower photos. Hello to April, too, although we’re still waiting for flowers here. One of these days, though. Lovely photos.

Thank you, Janet – April is April – takes some time to get real spring.
Beautiful interpretation of the challenge Ann-Christine. That image of all the birds is glorious! Looks like spring in Sweden is quite a wonderful season!
Thank you, Tina. The wind gliders and the cranes (20 000 this year so far…) are typical April adventures, and Anemone Hepatica is among our first signs of Spring.
Wow 😮 What a beautiful place 💕 Wonderful pictures 💕
Thank you so much, the cranes at Hornborgasjön are about 20 000!
Love the illustration. 😃 Beautiful spring images and words, Ann Christine.
Thank you, Sylvia – I love the blue anemones. And Wordswoth’s poem.
Such beautiful shots of the flowers.
Beautiful images of April in Swedan
The cranes are the most typical April sign, 20 000 so far this year at Hornborgasjön. Wind gliders emerge from their hidings in April, and Anemone Hepatica is a much longed for blue sign!
Glad you like anemones too! Unbelievable colours.
A beautiful post for this theme, Ann-Christine. Perfect blue and lovely April hath, indeed.
I just love the illustration of William Wordworth’s poem with the young spirit. 🙂
