I don’t think it does. These grow in thousands in the April forests in Scandinavia.
Now that must be a sight. Although I have been around in Scandinavia late Spring, I can’t recall seeing them and that is a pity as going by your photos, they are quite beautiful.

Wonderful light and details, A-C. There are thousands of wildflowers waiting to bloom in the park, but I only found one batch of one sort on today’s walk. Have to go back often.
