Remember: Always walk in the light. And if you feel like you’re not walking in it, go find it. Love the light. – Roberta Flack
This week, Amy’s beautiful challenge inspires us to explore natural light. In photography, light is everything. And for this week’s challenge, I’m offering you a gallery of images with some of my favourite natural lights. No sunrises and no sunsets though…
Light in Nature creates the movement of colors. – Robert Delaunay

I hope you’ll join Amy and the rest of us this week as we explore natural light. I’m looking forward to your posts and your inspiration!
Last week my LAPC#137: Soft challenge gave us the chance to see all your diverse, fun, and beautiful interpretations – and there were many smiles and much loveliness. Thank you!
Next week, Tina will lead the challenge, so please stop by Travels and Trifles and join the fun on Saturday, March 13th at noon.

Such a beautiful collection … 🙂
Thank you, Julie!
The magical light through the clouds is awesome!!!
Thank you, Alexander – that was a lucky shot through the car window!
I love your images. Especially fond of the backlit berries and wood anemonies.
Thank you, Marlene. The backlit images are always my own favourites too.
Excellent examples of changing light, Ann-Christine! You have captured each one beautifully. I especially like the sky over the dunes, as well as the backlit flowers and berries.
Glad you enjoyed them, Sue! The flowers and berries seem to be the most loved.

The captures from your garden are truly wonderful, along with all those gorgeous sky captures 🙂
Can I add this post for my next episode of Weekend Sky challenge?
Thank you, Hammad! Glad you enjoyed it – and as long as you name my blog as source, you can add the post.
Thank you so much 🙂
You are welcome.
Glorious images Ann-Christine and your capture of the light breaking through the heavy cloud is truly amazing 💜🌞 xxx

Oh what fantastically beautiful photo you have showing of the sun’s natural light. 😀 😀
Glad you enjoyed them, Cee!
Love light through heavy clouds
Thank you, Sherry
Oh no, Ann-Christine! These images are beautiful and stunning. You put a big smile on my face today, for sure! The magical light shot is lingering in my mind…among the others. I hope you find plenty of sunshine and beautiful light this week!
Thank you, Patti – wishing you the same!
It never ceases to amaze me that sky colors can change so quickly, especially in the golden and blue hours, but also during the day as cloud patterns deflect the light.
Sunbeams shining through clouds are often spectacular, as is the example you chose to share here.
I must agree – and that is one of the greatest joys with photographing !
This was such a wonderful visual trip, I’m struggling to find the right words to say – so I will simply say, Thank you for sharing with me.
Thank you for watching, Frank! And for the lovely comment.
Realy great shots, I go for the anemones and the sun harp.
Thank you for your comment – soon the anemonies will be here!
beautiful Leya, loved the one through the cloth, I really had to stop an really look at it. the one with rays of light coming from the clouds. what a lovely sight
Thanks so much, Ritva! I loved that exhibition with ”tent” feeling.
Beautiful pictures Ann Christine, the berries , the magical light through the clouds , the fields , the sky. So difficult to pick out a favourite. Amazing examples of light. Fantastic all the way to the end.
Thank you, Sheetal, happy you liked them!
Ah, the light through the clouds…..and those backlit berries…. excellent!
❤
These are beautiful. I simply can’t single out a favourite.
Well…I’m ok with that!
Since I have, for the most part, spent the past year looking inward and closely at life… it felt liberating to step into your big, naturally lit compositions. Looking forward to those larger spaces💕Thank you, Ann-Christine, for the glorious perspectives.

Thank you for a lovely comment!
Wow, I love the moon photo and the last two photos. The light is absolutely amazing and beautiful.
So glad they resonated with you! Thank you for a lovely comment!
My heart at this moment seems to turn away from the dark and the clouds however beautiful they appear on the photo . . . methinks some simple red currants backlit seem to reach out their lusciousness and colour . . . . . .
Yes, I understand – those backlit currants are full of hope!
Your images are always wonderful Ann-Christine, and these are no exception. Your closing image and thought truly drew me in to your world. And of course your beautiful skies and beloved flowers. Honestly the entire post is like poetry. I loved it.
Thank you for naming it poetry – best praise you can get, Tina!
Leya, you have some amazing photos here! I love them! Hard to pick a favorite 😊❣❣
😊❤Thank you!
These are exceptional images. The Moon! The berries! Those might be my favorites but they are all so beautiful!
I am glad these resonated with you, Anne!
Beautiful light in these photos!!
❤
A very beautiful selection, AC. The backlit is amazing. the sky of the first image is like a painting on canvas. I love all of them!
Happy you liked them, Amy!
Wonderful image examples of light Ann Christine. I loved all of them, especially the back lit pictures.
Thank you – the backlit seems popular so far!
That backlighting gives me an idea. I may go out tomorrow morning and try to capture morning light behind my tiny white star white magnolias that are just blooming. Thanks!!!
Oh – magnolias are wonderfully delicate backlit! Hipe you will be posting them!
Such lovely light you have captured in these.
❤
Hmm, difficult to pick a favorite out of these beauties, but what attracted me about the first shot was the interesting angle of the trees. I also found the piece of art fascinating with its view of trees. Of course the backlit berries are just lovely.

Glad you liked them, Janet!
