Just had to…because there is no green spring up here yet… For Jude and Life in Colours.

Leaves, walking with Frank at his Beach Walk today. If you would like to collaborate with him, he is searching for you! I am happy to walk a soft leaf walk this morning – waiting for spring to arrive in Sweden..
I learned something new, as I hadn’t heard of Catkins until now.
I only learned it some 5 years ago!
I’m in the same boat as you. Plenty of yellows, but not much green. Taking your lead, I may just post my forsythias and such. Best wishes! Russell
My forsythias has no flowers yet…I’ll look at yours!
Fab!
😀
Things are greening up there
Hopefully…with you they are!
Yes they are🙂
I saw a tree like this yesterday whilst driving home from the supermarket, just full of catkins. My willows have a few fuzzy nubs, but not these long dangly ones!
They’re coming?!
No, they only have the little fat ones.
I love catkins and that shower of gold is wonderful.
It is, Mari – but they always also make me think of allergic friends of mine. ♥
Symbolically, catkins are green I think. Life renewed!
Chartreuse again?
😉
;-D

I’ll be catching Frank’s post and your photos a bit later. Are these really leaves? They’re so interesting.

Catkins. I love them – but unfortunately many people are allergic to them.
Oh wow … a gold tree! 🙂 …. Thanks again for your wonderful images at my end. I invite your readers to stop by. 🙂
Thank you for having me! I invite them too, to walk with you😊
