Little blue eyes among the winter leaves – not many yet, but still –

“Come with me into the woods where spring is
advancing, as it does, no matter what,
not being singular or particular, but one
of the forever gifts, and certainly visible.”
― Mary Oliver
Beautiful Photos 😊👍🏻 May I ask with which lens you captured the macro shots? They seem to be really sharp
Thank you. I did not have my macro lens, but used my ordinary Fuji 16-80. I was not sure there would be any anemonies yet.
Oh wow, what a suprise , because the sharpness in details is amazing. I think I have to try it with my 16-80 and my XT2 🙂
❤️
It looks so lonely, and so fragile.
Fragile it is – lonely for some more days – then the whole forest will be blue!
A tiny beauty, A-C, and I always enjoy Mary Oliver.

What a special little harbinger of spring – she may be small but very definitely demands being noticed . . . and that white bubbly smile . . . !!!
♥ You are always making such wonderful responses, Eha! Thank you!
Love the photos Ann-Christine. I once planted these little beauties in my woodland border, but like many other plants it never returned after the first year.
It can be a tricky one, yes. In fact I have such little ones in my garden, in one of the hedges, so I believe they were there from the start as it is a rather ”wild” part of my garden.
Lovely pictures of one of my favourite flowers.
♥ Thank you! One of my favourites as well.
Those flowers are so sweet and lovely poking up through the dead leaves like that 🙂 Thank you for sharing them!
Thank you, Sarah – I have got my nose near the forest floor in spring!
Beauty in simplicity! 😊❤️
True – and simplicity is sometimes hard to recognise. Thank you!
Gorgeous photos! So delicate and with a wonderful color!
So glad you liked my little one! Their colours are beautiful – I agree.
Delightful!!

😊
Love the contrasting blue and brown. So pretty!
The colours of early spring!
The little sign that spring is happening and beautifully captured!

Beautiful macro shots of this anemone.
Thank you!
Spring is finally here.🍀
It is – we’ve had a wonderful three weeks – but now comes April showers and sleet…grateful for what we had!
So pretty against those leaves!
You don’t have to be big and great to be pretty, do you…tiny is the thing in spring!
🤗💗
Love the colour 😊
It is indeed a special one – and first out in Spring.
