Thank you, Egidio. It takes a whole week to cut, prune, repot and plant the seedlings. And reset /rearrange the house back to normal again…But I am very much enjoying it. It is relaxing and creative! We know each other very well, the plants and I. My husband used to threaten to by a machete…but after all these years, he has accepted my hobby.
I could do with your expertise here, though to be fair I only have 5 house plants and 3 of those are spider plants. You have a stunning collection there. Not all in the house surely?
No, these are only a few. Too many, I am getting close to the limit I think. Machete? The frost took some this year in the glass house. I have this electric frost guard, but -20 for almost a week was just too much for them. 5 House plants! Spider plants? I have a friend with a lush garden, not like yours, but very much gardening – she has about five house plants too. Maybe that is why I don’t succeed that well with my gardening…I have too many plants indoors!
I dont have any room in my house, very few windowsills, and the conservatory is not heated. I used to have many more house plants years ago so I can understand how much time they take up.
♥ Yes, maybe ggood that some of them did not make it through winter.
What a collection! I bet they’re happy in your care.
Oh! Well, maybe you are not that obsessed by plants like I am! I will count them tomorrow, I guess there are somewhere between 100 and 200. These are only a few. When I left home at 19 for my own apartment, the first thing I bought was a book of houseplants and a puppy!
They are wonderful! I have a few that need repotting too 🙂
Thank you – a spring job!
Wow!
Thank you for sharing you love for flowers, AC! The first image is magical. 🙂
♥
I didn’t realise quite how much you love your plants, Ann Christine. This is a labour of love.
It is. And they are always very grateful – reaching for the light immediately!
Oh wow, those are beautiful and amazing!!
Thank you, Lisa! Much work but always paying off!
Beautifully done with your camera and your hands.
Thank you, Frank! The plants already show their gratefulness!
Looking good! That takes a lot of work, but worth it in the end. Admirable dedication and admirable results.
thank you kindly, Nes – I only do it because I love it. But…there tend to be more and more plants…
Your plants look realy awesome now Leya. You may be tired, but the plants look very happy !
I think they are – already reaching for the light!
Ann-Christine, this is beautiful! You have a green thumb. Your plants look very healthy in these beautiful photos. Those orchids are amazing.

Not all…this winter it was just too cold for those in the glass house, so three, four plants died. -20, no one is made for that…
I can’t even imagine it. New cuttings, then!

I am in awe! I haven’t been able to keep even one plant alive indoors.

Never had a dog, either. 😉
;-D You had other things I am sure!
Yeah, four children and a couple of cats! 🙂
😀
Tending plants is kinda like leisurely fishing on a pretty lake …𝕀𝕥𝕤 𝕒 𝕕𝕚𝕣𝕥𝕪 𝕛𝕠𝕓 𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝕤𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕙𝕒𝕤 𝕥𝕠 𝕕𝕠 𝕚𝕥… 🙂

Leya, these are lovely
Now they are – repotted and fresh! Thank you!
