This week, Beth is leading us through, over and under bridges. Any kind of bridge is allowed, and it should be our favourites!
I find it difficult to separate places and experiences from the actual views of the bridges, and of course you don’t have to be beautiful to be loved…memories and feelings show up to colour your eyes…
Peace Bridge in Tblisi, Georgia.

Porto in Portugal sends great memories from the city as well as its bridges. There were many of them!
Glorious Tessin in Italy and Roman Ponte dei Salti on the Verzasca river.
Two bridges near my home, one in Autumn and the other in Winter. I love the light giving away the season.
And talking about memories…I have hundreds of photos from these two, and there will be room for more.

Thank you, Beth! I think the stone bridges are the most popular ones! We came back early this morning – to a rather rainy Sweden. We’ve had a wonderful cruise, but too much food…and too little walking.

Thank you so much, Ritva! And now I’ll be staying home in Sweden for the rest of the year… Sometimes traveling gets a bit too much. Good to be back – it really is the best part, isn’t it? Realizing how happy and grateful I am to have a home and a place for harmony.
Your bridge photos are all good the local ones especially, but your feature image of the dragonfly is a brilliant shot. I like the natural bridge.

Your local bridge is very beautiful, A-C. There’s an extra-dimension to photos of particular locations that you know and love through different seasons. It shows up in both these compositions.

Ann-Christine, what a gorgeous selection you presented us. The images are stunning. I loved the architecture and color in the first two. Porto’s bridge sent me back to our visit there. We spent several days visiting that town and bridge. The Italian bridge was so different. The two bridges near you home are beautiful, and I especially liked the autumn colors.

I personally love bridges . . . they ‘join’ places which, to me, is always an interesting positive . . . Love your collection as they show the variances possible . . . perhaps my favourite here is the Peace Bridge in Tblisi, which seems to combine fun and attractive modernity with its functionality!

You’ve some spectacular shots in this post, but my definite favourite is the last one, close to your home, in winter with icicles dangling from the structure. It is perfectly lit to show them off perfectly. Stunning! pp
