Egidio asks us where does it lead…an adequate question in today’s world. But the World is not the same anymore, so, the answer is that we don’t know. To feel safe, I will stay with answers I have and know right now.

This first beautiful road leads to a library in the forest – or what once was intended to become a library. The second road is an alley that leads to Hovdala Castle – my favourite castle close to us. The third road, a path only, used to lead to a magnificent lake area – especially in the Autumn. Hammarmölle damm. Last spring it was emptied and made into a trickling flow only. We all miss its beauty, its many birds and its clear water surface.

Milo always knows where a path leads to, at least he seems very sure about it. Clearly he knows his way back home when we are hiking or just strolling in new areas. I can rely on him. I do.
Thanks to everyone who responded so beautifully to Ritva’s challenge last week. I was amazed at how many of you were sincere music lovers and collectors! Remember to tag your entry with Lens-Artists and connect it to Egidio’s original post.
Next week, Tina will feature a new challenge. It will go live at noon EST in the USA. Tune in then to her lovely site and learn more about the challenge. Please see this page for more information about the Lens-Artists Challenge and its history.
Such lovely paths and roads to follow .. super photography !
Thank you, Julie!
These paths are so beautiful and inviting! Walking through such gorgeous autumn landscapes must feel like a true escape from a crazy world, especially with Milo by your side. Thank you for this lovely and peaceful gallery! 🌲✨
Thank you for a lovely comment, Aura. Escape is what it is too…
Such beautiful fall colours in your images. Nature is so inviting and calm.
Thank you, Pam – must enjoy the short time they are still here.
All paths lead home, maybe, or the dog thinks so. These are really stunning Ann-Christine, I love the colours in them. Beautiful time of the year to photograph them.
Thank you, Leanne! Short time this year though – they are almost gone in the recent storms and rains.
Glorious Ann-Christine! I wonder if autumn has already reached such beautiful peak colors for you. Here we are still quite green.
Then you have the best waiting for you! Here they are leaving now in storms and rain.
The colours are sublime, Ann-Christine!
Thank you! Storms raging now and rain…they will soon be gone. But the photos remain!
A beautiful gallery Ann-Christine and well done sweet Milo for always leading you home 🧡🐾 xxx
♥
Autumn is always so beautiful, and you’ve provided the evidence in the gallery, Ann-Christine! That composition with Milo in the center is gorgeous!
Thank you, John! Milo is not easily caught on photos – I was lucky.
What a lovely selection of images for this prompt, A C, and some wonderful autumn scenes!! Great to dee the library in the woods and Hovdala Slott again…happy memories
Happy memories!
Good!
Beautiful photos especially Milo
♥ I’ll tell him!
It’s already far into autumn in your part of the world! While we are sweltering still at 30+ degrees
Well, you know me – I’m not jealous…but soon the colours will be gone in the storms and rain.
Lovely photos and fun backstory.
Thank you, Brad!
Ann-Christine, I really enjoyed your stunning images. The trails all look so peaceful and I love the autumn colors.
Thank you, Beth – I’ve been enjoying, now it is soon gone. Making way for the grey November fogs.
Wow, Leya! That’s a truly splendid collection for this challenge. I absolutely love the shot of the gap in the stone wall with the tree in the centre! Great post. pp
Thanks, Pam! Glad you enjoyed!
Not only a great set of images to meet the challenge, but also beautiful captures of autumn at its best!
Thank you, Sarah – soon gone now in storms and rain…
But captured forever in your photos!
♥
Ann-Christeine, gorgeous autumn paths. Milo is your guiding light clearly going towards it.
♥
Fabulous fall colours
♥
Paths such as these are our true friends, leading us through ways of peace, harmony and the natural world. Thanks for sharing yours!
Thank you, Margaret! They are soon gone though – storms and rain bringing grey November in…
😕
Ann-Christine, this is the kind of gallery that I could see over and over again. Your photos and surroundings are gorgeous. The trails speak to me, and those last two photos are simply stunning. Thanks for bringing calm and direction to a crazy world.
Now you made me happy, Egidio! Thank you so much fior your positive words, and I am glad you enjoyed. Unfortunately we have had storms and rain now, so almost all colours are gone. Awaiting grey November…
Gorgeous paths, A-C.🙂👏🏻
Thank you, Jane!
Such gorgeous Autumn colours and superb paths landscapes too.
Hopefully this comment will reach you as I haven’t been able to comment on your blog for over 10 days now) – a WordPress anomaly perhaps?
Thanks – it worked! I had some more complaints on that – not being able to comment. Hopefully it’s only temporary.
I suspect WordPress are always doing software updates without testing them properly. It’s only on getting a 7-10 days of complaints that WordPress might fix the issues on our blogs. Seems to be certain Themes too. I don’t have the same issues on every blog I follow. Well, that’s my take on WP anyway.
Could be!
These autumn paths are beautiful, especially the alley to Hovdala Castle. I’m sorry about the dam lake, though. Losing a favorite spot like that is hard. Milo sounds like the perfect hiking guide!
Thank you for a happy comment, Jared! He is a lovely boy, Milo.
🐾😊
These are the most wonderful photos Ann-Christine. I would enjoy walking around there and would be happy to have Milo to get me back home too
Brian, than you – I would gladly lend him to you!
Beautiful images with great light. Love the 3rd image with the giant rocks guarding the path.
Thank you, Marie! I really enjoyed this one.
Beautiful gallery of autumn splendor, Leya. All your images are perfect for this challenge.
Thank you!
Stunning photos as usual from you, but the one at the end with Milo steals the show. It’s one that should definitely be hung on your wall.
Thank you, Jude! Well, maybe I will!
