This was a tricky one for Ailsa…I really am short of indoor photos. I guess I am just an outdoor person.
Nevertheless, this book store in Rome I find an irresistable indoors…and then, well, all of you who are dog lovers know what happens when you are sitting peacefully in that certain place…In (the) door suddenly appears a familiar face …”Oh, there you are! Just wanted to check…” (Quote, Mille)

We went to the summer house for some days. On the way, we caught our daughter at the airport – summer holidays are here. We also visited a very dear friend of ours and their 7 weeks old puppies. Totti was the proud grandfather – and his daughter Ella was the perfect mother. Busy days….

Meet some of the youngsters here! I do not have to tell you that they were Not posing…not a second…
I guess I got an extra heart ♥ swelling today.

For Sylvain Landry – beautiful Willow with the wind blowing in her hair. She belongs to Seonaid of Breathofgreenair, but my photo on my visit last year.
This day, 14 year ago, a remarkable friendship started between me and one of my most beloved friends ever. Mille. He came to us on May 9 and will stay for ever in our memories even if he left us, May 9, two years ago.
These two pictures were among the first ones I posted on my blog. I am very grateful for all the happy memories.
I have always had pets…everything from worms to cats and dogs. I could not live without them, but I bet sometimes my parents could have…
In the header, it seems the young cat staring at me never had a camera pointing at him before – or maybe he’d never seen such a weirdo as this one…
Of course my own sweetie, Totti, must be here as well! This weekend he had a short, but delightful, visit from his granddaughter – Diva.
See more pets here.
I will stick to dirt roads for Cee’s challenge – one summer road (with me and Mille) and one winter road. For more entries, click here.
It would be fun to know what the English speaking world calls this kind of summer road! In Sweden we call it a ”tvättbräda” – a wash-board (translated). I guess it might have another name for you?
I have spent a couple of days at a seaside resort on the west coast. We had some sunshine and a slightly chilly wind, and enjoyed the stay very much.
Last night and late evening, we walked the pier before dinner.
Many dogs were out walking their masters, but I especially noticed this man and his best friend. They had that special friendship that made them play so well together.
The way it should be between man and dog. Between best friends.
Just watch them together. The listening and total understanding – no loud voices…
…but talking all the time…
Cooperation – and perfect understanding
