A Sunny Day…One of Few

To remind me of one of the few sunny days this summer. Cold, windy and showers every day – this Swedish summer of 2017 will not be one remembered for its glorious weather. This week is also the last holiday week for many Swedes – always a bit terrifying…but nowadays it doesn’t matter that much how the summer was. I am lucky to be free!

Thursday Thoughts and WPC: Bridge

My Thursday Thoughts connected with WPC: Bridge.

A hope and a wish for all countries to continue their work – to stand united, bridgeing all disputes – to save our planet Earth. A Swedish meadow in its summer glory – is it not worth preserving? May the Love of Mother Nature be the Bridge for us all.

WPC: Evanescent

Northern Ireland, the North Coast, the beginning of May. Everyone told us just how lucky we were…sun, no wind, 20 degrees C. ”The finest day this year”, our landlord told us. Evanescent.

And Finally the Nightingale Sang

_copyIn glorious evening light, no wind, and a summer softness in the bird cherry scented air – we heard him…the Nightingale. This long, cold and dry Spring unveiled its soft heart and let Totti and me enjoy the first taste of summer. And my son turned 25. A blessed day.
