Thursday Thoughts – Loads of Łódź

Do you usually return to places you once visited and loved?

Or are you like me – afraid of returning, afraid of getting disappointed?

Last year I went to the Light Move Festival and fell in love with this city…

All the red brick buildings, and not the least Manufaktura.

So, when my friends wanted to go this autumn, I did not say no…

And I wasn’t disappointed! Here some night pictures of the planetarium for Expo 2022.

And the new railwaystation. The first shot is of course the Unicorn Stable! My favorite.

Lens-Artist Photo Challenge: #13 Look Up

I have just returned from the Light Move Festival in Lodz, Poland – again. We were there last year, Viveka (My guilty pleasures) and I, and this year some of my best friends wanted to join me. Patty’s theme just seems meant for me – Look Up!

Lodz has a lot to offer visitors – even an enormous amount of art murals – outstandingly beautiful and worth walking for hours to see. Sometimes a lonely dog on a balcony as well…

 

Finally – Lodz has got some lovely parks to fill my lungs and eyes with as well! So, Look Up and you will be greatly rewarded!
