# 124 Hör ihop – Belong together (112/365)

I en park i Lund sitter det här fina paret. Jag stannar alltid och beundrar när jag går förbi. Den lilla flickan och haren – långt ifrån varandra, men hör ändå ihop.

In a park in Lund, there is a sweet couple that I always stop to admire whenever passing here.. A little girl throwing, or blowing, a kiss at a hare sitting opposite to her…even though he’s rather far away.

I love these two. maybe because I recognize myself as a child talking to the rabbits my grandfather kept in the garden. I used to sit there with them every day – just watching them, talking softly. I always made one of them Mine, My special friend.

Despite the distance…just watch them…come alive. They belong together.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Abstract Photography

Cee’s challenge this week is about abstractions. My try is from Malmoe last Autumn. See more abstract photos here.

Like abstract art, abstract photography concentrates on shape, form, colour, pattern and texture. The viewer is often unable to see the whole object. The subject of the photo is often only a small part of the idea of the image. Viewers may only know the essence of the image subject or understand it by what is implied.

Often the image will not be a literal view of the subject itself. The subject tends to come second to seeing. The impact of aspects of the subject become a form of expressing the point. (definition found here)

Travel Theme: Fantastic

There are many fantastic writers and authors, and now one of them, Sir Terry Pratchett, has left us – at least for a while…

If you look up the word ”fantastic” in a dictionary, it says ”wild and strange; grotesque; absurd; marvellous; wonderful.” What am I to do about such a theme?

I will pick three shots – trying to picture the definitions. All of them from New Zealand, the land of wonders.

From Weta Cave, Welliwood,  and all its fantastic gear – unfortunately I never noted down who this is…

And fantastic Milford Sound – even more beautiful than Norway.

WPC: Wall

This week’s challenge takes us to a wall – my wall is a happy one, where you can exchange thoughts and quotes and general wisdom or recipes or…Just write your message behind a little door – open your heart and some doors, read and enjoy!

5 Day Black & White Challenge: Day three

The rules are simple:

1) post a black & white photo daily for 5 days

2) Invite someone different to participate each day. (because no one wants to play alone!)

For Day 3, I am happy to invite  Ninnao at http://ordibild.com/2015/ She is a colourful young lady who loves pictures and reading too. I wonder what she would come up with in black and white?

No strings attached if you don’t feel up to it.
