This morning it had been raining – leaving a soft, shimmering light on everything. A quiet room for me.

Photo book on The Garden of My Dreams

This summer I had the opportunity of visiting and taking photos in the most beautiful garden – the garden of my dreams. The owners, Kerstin and Kjell-Arne, have travelled the world to collect many rare species, and are always working hard on their dream.

I cannot say how much I appreciate being given this opportunity – and all the chats about the forest and its inhabitants whenever we see each other. Be it hiking or a short visit in their garden.

This year, their work was more abundantly rewarded than ever. So they said, and I believe them. They know everything about plants and different species and Kjell-Arne is also an ornithologist with many years’ experience. You who follow my blog might also remember him as – ”the little man”/”den lille mannen”.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Habits

27 augusti, 201528 augusti, 2015 / Leya / 5 kommentarer

Habits work through the senses – join in Cee’s challenge this week and find out more about yourself! I have chosen the positive alternatives: Good.

For more of this, click here.

Habits
Sense of Seeing – What delights visually.
Sense of Touching – What textures do you like to touch.
Sense of Hearing – What sounds do you like to hear.
Sense of Tasting – What tastes good (or bad) to you.
Sense of Smelling – What smells good(or bad) to you.

Seeing – Nature. Today’s Autumn colours

Touching – My dogs. Only Totti now.

Hearing – Bird song. Waking up to an early morning thrush.

Tasting – Wild berries like these blackberries, newly picked.

Smelling – Flowers like lavender, roses and honeysuckle

So what do these habits tell about me?
