# 91 Färdmedel – Means of conveyance (23/365)

Trains are very useful when commuting and going to Kastrup to catch a flight abroad. I love relaxing on a train. Unfortunately Swedish trains are not that reliable anymore…you must always have a plan B to survive…My daughter loves going by train and refers to them as ”being in between”. You are going from one ”somewhere” to another ”somewhere” – a sense of freedom.

One of the highlights of hiking is a cup of coffee and my mother’s buns – of her own special recipe.

”12 Balanserande – Balancing (18/365)

Vilka är bäst på balanserande? Jo, barn! (Och katter…)

Who are the greatest artists on this? Children, of course! (And cats…)

# 249 Selfie (17/365)

Selfie is nothing for me…but this backpacking hiker is OK!

# 298 Suddig – Blurry (15/365)

This shot was in a hurry to catch a lady and her dog, walking towards a tunnel that I liked. Unfortunately they were too far away, so it all got blurry. Useful for this theme instead of throwing it away!

Hoods are for strong winds. My mother has just taken down hers as we are walking under the trees now.

Travel Theme: Slow

Slow is the theme for Ailsa this week…I guess the photos could speak for themselves!

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Joints and/or Things You Enjoy

First of all I would like to thank you, Cee, for being featured last week! I’m honoured!

This week is a bit more grim…for Joints I cannot stop thinking of my visit to Rome and the Crypt of the Capuchins.

My reaction on entering this ossuary, was at first a bit violent…but after walking the thirty metre long corridor with all niches decorated with human bones and skulls, the hanging lamps made of vertebrae and whole skeletons standing watch – I got used to it and could almost admire the fantastic patterns once made by the monks. I read somewhere that the bones of about 4000 monks were used to build this scenery, starting in the 17th century and finished not until the end of the 19th century.

”What you are now, we once were; what we are now, you shall be.” This is the memento mori written down here, in three languages.

As no one was allowed to take photos, I bought some cards and photographed them instead. This is the Crypt of Skulls.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Achievement

For this little guy, it was indeed an achievement to dare coming this close to the dogs. The dad seemed almost as happy as his son!

Stylish shops…

It’s hard not to be impressed by the Italians. Everything they do, they do with style. In style. And they all look gorgeous…slim, long-legged women and smart men in sunglasses…Tasty food, great monuments, history seeping through their every stone.

A little taste of this is for stylish dogs too…

Three lovely friends – who were allowed into any shop, it seemed…but they were completely natural! In fact I didn’t see a single dog wearing any of these crazy outfits…

…ballerina? Fur coat? Or…a new necklace perhaps?

Or, why not a new sweater and a pair of jeans…

Honestly…this is ridiculous. Buy a doll. Naked Chinese Crested and some other breeds might need clothes, and sometimes I wish Totti had a raincoat because his fur never dries after a walk in heavy rain…but No.
