Seven Day Nature Photo, Day Two -Head Over Heels

I have been nominated by my friend Sue, at WordsVisual, to take part in a challenge of a photo per day for seven days, of anything from the natural world. And every day I should nominate a new member.

We are on the same beach as in the last post – not fast moving…but too fast for me. I tripped over the debris lying around here (As this is a Nature Reserve, nothing is to be moved) and went heavily down in the sand. Groan. Must have been fun for anyone looking…but I was alone. My right hand high up in the air, holding the camera – trying to save it from a sand burial.

All went well, but I just had to take a shot at the one who landed here before me…

Today I would like to nominate my blogging friend Pike at artkorppi to take part in the 7-day Nature Photo Challenge. She takes wonderful photos from the natural world and has a keen artistic eye, go to cityenkeli.wordpress.com to see her sketchbook as well. Seven Day Nature Photo, Day One -Lonely Beach

My first photo is from the west coast of Sweden, a nature reserve, on a very cold and windy day.

Today I would like to nominate Noortje Russel at RusselsLof to take part in the 7-day Nature Photo Challenge. She takes the most wonderful photos from the natural world and has a keen artistic eye. I would love to see what she might come up with for this challenge….. No problem if you are far too busy for this, Noortje!!

CFFC: Alleys, Driveways, Parking Lots, Dirt Roads

It would be fun to know what the English speaking world calls this kind of summer road! In Sweden we call it a ”tvättbräda” – a wash-board (translated). I guess it might have another name for you?

SL-WEEK 38: Yellow

Yellow is a very special colour. It symbolizes a variety of things; for example the sun, being false (in the language of flowers) and power – only for the emperor of China.

I love yellow, but cannot wear it. Others can with elegance – like houses, vehicles and flowers.

Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack ? wants us to use our senses – and one of the places where most senses are at work is the Jokhang temple in Tibet. The dense smoke and all the people – eating, waiting, praying…

…and the Tibetan landscape…its vastness and immense beauty, Its total silence is overwhelming.

Thursday Thoughts – A Man and His Dog

I have spent a couple of days at a seaside resort on the west coast. We had some sunshine and a slightly chilly wind, and enjoyed the stay very much.

Last night and late evening, we walked the pier before dinner.

Many dogs were out walking their masters, but I especially noticed this man and his best friend. They had that special friendship that made them play so well together.
