A day in Haworth with flowers and wonderful people makes you keep on ticking. During this day we also had a long walk up to ”Wuthering Heights”, and during those 2-3 hours we really felt the soft winds of the moors and the soaring spirits of Catherine and Heathcliff.
The Parsonage is still here, the place where Emily, Charlotte, Anne and Branwell Brontë grew up, and where the sisters wrote their famous novels.
The graveyard has got about 42000 graves – which in those days led to the water being polluted down in the village and many children died.
Before starting out on our long walk, we had some Yorkshire pudding at the White Lion and for dessert I had shortbread with strawberries and cream.
