Certain scents bring back old memories like nothing else can do. Memories from childhood and younger days. Sometimes a scent brings tears to my eyes and other times a smile on my face…For this challenge I chose a quote from the world of animals. Maybe it seems like a joke to some of you, but I have grown up with animals and I just might agree with Mr Stewart. What do you think?

Mmm, me too! A smell of warmth, fur, love and affection…
Not strange at all. I love the smell of dogs’ feet – (what can I say?) It is a scent from my childhood, as I lay on the couch using the haunch of our Basset as a pillow for my head.
This sounds lovely…and somewhat familiar even if we never had a basset!

Interesting thought! I think they smell earthy dry warmth and… natural. It’s a positive smell to me – I guess their marvellous nose must like having their paws up close then!
How cute is that! Maybe that is why dogs sometimes like to curl up with their paws near the nose; their feet smell good to them 😉
