From Cee this week – patterns. Mine are rectangles from a church roof and rings from a bird in the lake. Very different but they give me a nice feeling both of them.

That church roof is incredible. I’m glad I waasn’t the one who had to build that. Congratulations on being featured.
Thank you, Chris! Well, I wouldn’t have been so good at building it either…but those who did really were.
Amazing photo shot, congrats!
Thank you very much!
what amazing architecture in the first shot, love it…
Varnhem Abbey church was founded around 1150 by monks of the Cistercian Order – it’s very old!
gosh, just googled it, it’s fascinating, both exterior and interior… I’m happy Cee featured your post…well deserved 🙂
Thank you so much – and thank you for the follow! I’m looking at your site now, and I’ll be back – it’s great.

Thank you, Amanda!
The monastery photo is fantastic! I love the mix between lines and curves.
Thank you – It makes me calm and I like watching it. I’m glad you explain why you like it!
Wonderful images … Varnhem is my favorite .. but the ripples on the water around the bird, great captured.
Viveka – Varnhem is a bit magical. The footsteps of Arn.
Leya, the church roof has so many patterns, yet they all work together to be pleasing. Your second photo is so restful!
janet
Thank you for thinking and sending it to me! I do believe both are restful and calm, yes. You put it right.
You have an eye for patterns, gorgeous pics for this theme. Those roofs and the angle of the photo is excellent.
Thank you so much!
wow! that first shot of the roofs is spectacular!
Thank you!
Oh I love those rooftops !
Thank you, Poppy!

He, he, thanks M.R.!
Beautiful patterns! Great choice, as always!
You are kind, Amy – thank you!
I love the patterns and textures of the roofs and walls. Beautiful.
Thank you!I think it’s something with the grey and the sloping roofs.
That is somehow, gorgeous! I think it’s the simplicity of shape? Lovely.
I think you are right – I couldn’t put my finger on what it was about them that caught me. ”Simplicity of shape”. Should be an artist like you to explain that!
Fantastic!!!
Pedro.
Thank you, Pedro!
Thanks.
Beautiful patterns. WOW!! Thanks for playing.
My pleasure, thank you, Cee!
Both lovely, but the monastery roof is truly beautiful. The rooms/cells must be real tiny 🙂
Unfortunately it was closed this early morning, so we could just admire from the outside.
Amazing these roofs 🙂 Thank you dear Leya, love, nia
Always sweet comments from you, Nia! Thank you!
