Ailsa’s Horizons is an enigmatic theme, and changing the horizon’s position is a great possibilty to create totally different photos – standing in almost the same position. My entry is from yesterday evening by the lake.
High horizon
Low horizon
No horizon

Ethereal capture!
Thank you – a wonderful evening by our home lake.
A clever interpretation Ann Christine….horizon is after all a matter of perspective! 🙂 Love the second shot.
Thank you – I love it too. But I don’t like that the birds are gathering for their long flight south – migrating. This means a long waiting for them to come back to us.
am in love with the second photo…
Mmmm, that was a lovely evening with the birds flying in the sunset.
Beautiful photos for a beautiful interpretation.
You are so kind – thank you! Have a great Sunday.
These are wonderful !
Wonderful evening!
Wow the color of the sky in the first to photos is awesome
me and totti walked around there for about three hours. Lovely evening and night. We have to enjoy them – they will soon be over. Yours are coming instead!
Yes I know whet you mean. Here they are already starting to be earlier again
Just gorgeous, Ann Christine … I particularly love the flock flying …
Mmm, they came fairly close so I could see they were Northern lapwings. I guess they were gathering for their flight south to Northern Africa or the mediterranian area.
Bird migration is … fabulous …
I have never taken a photo of bird flocks, Leya. It’s down on ‘must do’ list. Love your pinks and blues and the beautiful foreground reflection
Thank you for commenting! I first took photos on the thousands of cranes in April here, but got hooked. Difficult to get a good shot though as they are moving. I’m glad you liked them.
Lovely examples of horizons, so peaceful and that pale pastel sunset is wonderful. Thanks for stopping over at CTB 😀 and checking me out.
My pleasure! Thank you for commenting back!
No problem 🙂
Wow! Magnifient captures! Love the second one especially.
Thank you, Amy!
Very good, Leya 🙂
Thank you – I thought I made a little pun there…
