Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Black and White Photos

This is not something I usually do, B&W, but …well, I’ll give Cee’s Black and White a try. This young man I found sitting on the wall in Greyfriars’ churchyard. We were slowly walking through the silence towards Greyfriars Bobby’s grave – the famous little Skye Terrier who faithfully stayed on his master’s grave for 14 years.

Then I saw him. Alone and contemplating he was – I just had to… not forget him. And everything was…black, white and grey.

  1. I don’t do B&W neither – I want my world to have so much color as possible. It’s a while since I took part in Cee’s challenge. Think I have to look through my images and see what I can turn into interesting black.
You have chose a perfect one. I wish you a pleasant weekend.
This weekend Landskrona have a massive photo festival – and tomorrow I will check it out.

    • Interesting! Festival! Have a lovely weekend you too! I have been working hard for two weeks and these last three days were days of introduction for the new students. I fell asleep in the car standing by the road on my way home. Gosh, what a start after the summer vacation…

  4. I like the sepia, Ann Christine – better than the B&W.The trouble I am finding more and more these days is that many take a colour photo and render it into monochrome; and the contrast level is far too high so that detail is lost.
Stick to the sepia. It’s nice. 🙂
