Humanity is the WP challenge – what first comes to my mind is all human beings collectively – the human race. Then the human nature – what does it mean, being human?
We live in this world, on this Earth together
We travel, we try to find our own way in life
Eating and…
…drinking are essential to stay alive
We start families – and we read and learn
Working together is a must – and, oh, the joy!
Communication – more and more important to us
We try to build bridges over gigantic gaps…physical and psychological
Living without art and stories and fantasy – impossible…
…but we pay too much attention to our outward qualities…
…and everything is not what it seems to be
Secondly, there’s the quality of being humane – kindness and benevolence. Tolerance.
How we treat the lonely man in the street…
…and our best friends, the animals
…and try to give our newcomers on this planet a positive start

I had to allow the theme to percolate for a while and then decided to focus on the many different ways we humans play…

Great sets of photos, Leya. You’re right, humanity is about kindness and tolerance – how we treat and respect others, young and old. And yes, humanity includes animals too. We should never forget about them. They make great companions 🙂
