One of my favourite places for the land – water meeting is high up in the mountains where the water is mint green from the glaciers. This photo is from St Moritz and the mountains from a trip with the Bernina Express to Alt Grüm and the cool lakes up there.

Thank you!
Beautiful!
thank you! Good to hear from you – this autumn I’m taking a year off, and my plans are to retire after that year. I guess I will like it…

Beautiful! I can feel the crisp, clear air!
Yes….but it was very warm up there. No wind whatsoever. In the sun it was too hot!
Doesn’t seem possible!
I know, I know…I have been in the mountains many times – and on these heights (about 3000) – but never ever experienced this heat.
Amazing!
Glacier water is such a beautiful colour, isn’t it!
I love it.
A beautiful picture. I love these types of photos.
Enjoy!
Beautiful! I have several questions about that landscape; 1. Is that a very large pile of sand/earth in the middle/left side of the image? 2. There are some almost-parallel lines running vertical in the far back right side of the water.. is that a dam?
3. It’s been great to be using internet strong enough to load the images!
Great to hear from you and you are feeling better?! Yes, they are taking sand/gravel from there and the parallel lines are bringing electricity/power.
Thanks for those details! Yess, feeling better and just returned home after a week at the museum. I see that you’ve posted a few new ones, but alas they won’t load here at home. I hope that there’s enough ‘juice’ to get this reply to work! z
There was! Good to hear from you, Liza!
Loveliness!
